NEW MUSIC: Velvet by YGHD

Sadly last week saw the end of local pop-punk outfit Truth About Vegas, a band who's somg 'Alcoholiday' we reviewed a while back and played a great show for us as part of the RoezRock gig in the summer. But every cloud... three of the members of the band have just formed YGHD (or Younghood) and they have wasted no time in releasing their debut single.

A little more indie pop than punk this time round, but if this first track 'Velvet' is anything to go by, then there is still plenty of talent for writing catching tunes remaining with the new venture.
