One year ago today we took a huge step and released our very first record on our brand new label, Rose Coloured Records. A gorgeous red (rose coloured) 12" vinyl release of 'Ten Meters Per Second, Per Second' by Aldershot's beautiful noise makers Parachute For Gordo. From the start Rose Coloured has been about supporting local artists and getting their music heard by as many people as possible. This was the perfect first record for us, a band we loved and the first band to open a Rose Coloured Presents gig, but also a band that wasn't getting the wider recognition they deserved.

It's been an amazing year since the Gordo release, the packed launch gig (where we must have sold more vinyl in one evening than many others did at the Westy that year) and five more releases including an EP and single from the incredible twothirtytwo and a split EP from 2 young acts who are going from strength to strength, Annabel Allum (destined for huge things very soon) and itoldyouiwouldeatyou.

There has also been two compilation records packed with more than 30 local acts. The profits from these go to a great cause supporting young musicians in the area, Forward 4 Wiz. (Note: these CD's are selling out so be quick).

To celebrate, but also to try and get this fantastic music to even more ears, we are halving prices for ALL of the physical releases (vinyl and CD) so please go and grab some music now.
