Local Radar: Madd Elizabeth new EP out now.

We love to see bands on the local scene experimenting and not being afraid to do something different. Recently we brought you one such band, Cultural Other and today we'd like to introduce you to another; their good friends Madd Elizabeth.
This exciting Guildford-based alternative quartet released their brand new EP 'Take and Run' this week. The three-track record is available to stream and download from their Soundcloud page here. Below we share the opener and our favourite 'It's Okay'.
The band draw inspiration and influence from as wide a range of music and personal experiences as they can, resulting in an end product which is their very own. They cite the likes of Radiohead, The Stranglers and Jeff Buckley but ask the listener, 'what do you hear'?
The final track 'Demand' feels like the single, if this record should even have one, but it's pleasing it comes after two very different, decidedly more experimental songs. The EP from these four current ACM students, demands to be heard and it makes us happy to see a young band producing something of this originality,
